Reva Electric Car Company is ready to launch the two stunning models Reva NXR in the early January of 2010 and Reva NXG in 2011. The Electric Car Company has joined hands with Bannon Automotive to bring out the models.
Reva NXR is a three-door car housing four-seats. The model has come up with more space compare to its predecessor. It can accelerate a maximum speed of 105 km/hr with a range of 160 kilometers on a single charge of the lithium-ion battery. It takes 8 hours for full charging of the lithium-ion battery from a general household outlet.
Special features supported by the models include Keyless entry and its operation, Dual charge ports, its Digital display including sms alerts. It also includes Insurance alert, monthly eco-drive check by email etc.
If the car runs out of the charge, customer can take the help of 24/7 customer support service, they offer remote charge which enables the car to continue driving within a short span of time.
The two cars are designed by the company to target two sets of consumers. NXR is automatic and it makes to feel very comfy while driving. It also has an optional solar panel on the top.
NXG is a lifestyle fun car with a price of 7.1 lakh is hitting the market in 2011 where as NXR has a price tag of 10.65 lakh excluding its lithium-ion batteries.
